The Asakusa Samba Carnival Parade, one of the biggest events marking the end of summer in Tokyo, will be held on the following date.

Dancers in vibrant costumes and dynamic performances by powerful percussion groups will bring the streets of Asakusa to life in this exciting parade competition. Reminiscent of Brazil's world-famous carnival, this energetic event draws large crowds every year. Please note that heavy congestion is expected around Asakusa Station and major streets, including Umamichi Street in front of the hotel and Kaminarimon Street. Traffic restrictions may also be in place. We recommend allowing extra time when planning your visit or travel.
